That broken server ...

That dead kmotion server ... PSU dead, video capture card physically broken (???), New PSU, New video capture card, Spinrite both HDD's, Memtest86 over night, re-install software, not really needed but was an upgrade from 9.04 ?, so installed 10.04 LTS, soak test and ready to be returned to owner :)

    tell me more.....what happened? I got so hardtimes too tried many new disto's .....back to kubuntu 11.04 and i stick with it,too many troubles after each upgrade.
    what kind of video capture card you are using? system load?

    They are very cheap but just use one input per card so for a couple of cam inputs you are looking at £14. Using one input they work well.
